Let your dreams take wing at Temple Terrace Ballet
Founded in 1992, Temple Terrace Ballet has long served the community offering superior training in classical ballet.
We have moved to a more accommodating venue where we can 'spread our wings' and offer more forms of dance and other music and theatre arts instruction.
We offer a complete dance curriculum for students ages 2 years through adult including classes in classical ballet, pointe, pas de deux and variations; along with acrobatics; hip hop; jazz; modern; musical theatre and tap.

Dancers have the opportunity to perform at the end of each semester with performances at the University of South Florida Theatre.
Dancers also participate in community events such as Relay For Life.
We currently offer instruction in many dance styles and are planning to offer many more dance forms along with instruction in music, including instrumental and vocal, along with acting, stage production, and all aspects of the performing arts.

We currently offer instruction in many dance styles and are planning to offer many more dance forms along with instruction in music, including instrumental and vocal, along with acting, stage production, and all aspects of the performing arts.
We have produced many full-length ballets and mixed repertory shows. We now plan to stage complete musical theatre productions and dramas.
We already have teachers on hand to teach a variety of subjects and are looking for more instructors for additional areas of expertise.

If you are not familiar with the location of the USF Theatre school and Theatre I are located, they are located on USF Holly drive across from the USF post office (you can 'google' the post office to get a good GPS location). Take Fletcher Dr. and turn south on USF Palm Dr. You will be headed straight toward the Marshall Student Center and will see a topiary bull. The road will make a right turn and become USF Holly Dr. Immediate on the right will be the USF Post Office, and across the road to your left you will see the Theatre and Dance school buildings. Just beyond and connected is the USF Theatre one where we hold our recitals.
The picture to the right and below shows this group of buildings. In the center of the Theatre building you will see the entrance. Take either the elevator or stairs up to the second floor to room 222 where we will be having our classes.
Parking: You may be required to buy a parking permit. Download the parkmobile app at the following link:
https://app.parkmobile.io/zone/start
Visitor parking is in front of the Dance building. (If you park in front of the Theatre building, you will get a ticket).
There are also 'timed' spaces available in the next lot over for paying by the hour.
Pull into the parking lot and open the app on your phone. Select your location and the app will ask you how many hours you will be parked and give you the cost for the permit (Maximum for 24 hours is $5.83).
They may check for permits 24/7 and issue a ticket if you do not have a permit. However, at times they may allow free parking for late evenings and weekends. The app will let you know what fee is required.
For inquiries about venue availability or our upcoming events, send us a message.
We will get back to you soon!
