After the crazy year we've had, we are excited to be able to have a live show in a real theatre. But of course, a real theatre costs real money, and with the additional expenses for rights, sets, costumes, etc., we could use additional funds to help us put on a great show. As it has for many businesses, it has been a struggle for us to keep the studio going. I've had to forgo a salary for myself in order to be able to pay my staff and rent on the facility for the past year. We had just moved into our new location and were excited to be able to offer a greater variety of dance classes as well as music lessons with more offerings in our future plans. We had just mounted our first complete "Nutcracker Ballet" to great acclaim when we suddenly had to close down. We re-opened last summer to a small, but dedicated group of students which has grown steadily throughout the past year and to whom we are exceedingly grateful. Despite the low enrolment, we have continued to make costly upgrades to the facility in order to provide the best training facility possible in anticipation of a return to normal operations. And despite several attempts to receive PPP funds or financial assistance from other relief programs I was unable to receive any aid. And so it is that I reach out to everyone to help support our current production and help provide for the future of our program. We have a fantastic cast and it will be a wonderful show which we hope you will come to see and support us though your ticket purchases. I have always desired to be a giving person and have long been providing scholarships and financial assistance to our dance families in need. But now I must put my hand out to ask for your help to be able to keep offering all our present and potential performing arts students the best training and performing experience available anywhere!
